The interruption of their daily routine is minimal and they are present should urgent matters need attention. In-house courses can also be tailored to your needs. If you wish they can also be organised in the field.

Cost:
The cost of providing an in-house course depends on what is required. If equipment or samples have to be brought to your chosen location then the cost is likely to be higher than just having a course provider being present.
As a guide, the cost of an in-house course is usually in the region of £2650 plus VAT per day for up to twelve participants or £3000 plus VAT per day for up to fifteen participants, plus expenses for those providing it. Thus an in-house course usually requires you to arrange for numbers of staff to be free to attend. One organisation has joined with others to achieve the advantage provided by numbers.
