Geology is used in many ways and in many forms. There are those who excavate and construct in and with the materials of the ground; those that explore, discover and develop the mineral resources of the earth; others refine and improve the quality of what is obtained from the ground; many depend upon what they grow in the earth and irrigate with water from the earth. Others study the Earth and its workings; and so on.This section of the web is dedicated to airing these interests. It has links to the Professional Intstitutions and Learned Societies, to education and its continued development after graduation (CPD), to the Regulators that control planning and to the manufacturers and suppliers of all manner of everyday items that originate from the ground.
Intimately associated with Geology at Work is the subject of Public Awareness.
